Typically YES! As a holder of the FAA Part 107 Certificate I can request permission to fly inside of controlled airspace. This is not guaranteed because the Air Traffic Control Manager has the final say, however I have had minimal issues getting approval.
Please note that the approval process can take a few days and has to be submitted no later than 72 hours in advance.
Short answer is YES! Depending on the distance, there may be travel costs associated for jobs beyond 30 miles from Columbus, GA.
As a drone pilot, scheduling is based on availability but more importantly, weather conditions. Wind and rain not only cause safety concerns, but make it difficult and virtually impossible to capture the best quality content. I understand that nobody can control the weather and my goal is to be as flexible as possible. Also note that I always check the weather prior to any job and usually notify the client if I identify any concerns.
No. You would be surprised how many times I get asked that.
